Use is made of outside expertise at times but all development work including design and software programming is done in-house. Our Team
Dr Craig Donald
Dr Craig Donald is a Director of Advanced Development Applications, and of Leaderware. He also holds a position as Adjunct Associate Professor at Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia. He has a PhD in Industrial and Organisational Psychology (UCT) and an MA (WITS). He is a Member with the UK CCTV User Group where he has received an award recognising excellence to the CCTV industry. Besides being the trainer responsible for all training internationally for courses on body language and behavioural recognition for CCTV, he also provides the behavioural recognition training to Super Recognisers in the UK, who are experts in providing elite personnel with exceptional face recognition.
Craig is an industrial psychologist with a specialist involvement in human factors issues in technology integration and the security industry. He consults internationally in security management, has published in academic and industry publications widely internationally with work translated into several languages, and has a particular focus in body language and the detection of incident behaviour. He has worked with and trained police on behavioural analysis in CCTV surveillance in several countries including UK, Australia, Poland, Singapore, and Southern and East Africa as well as
surveillance functions in customs, aviation, town centres, casinos, and precious mineral producers internationally. He has trained over 5000 delegates in over 14 countries for police, Government agencies, major international mining groups, airlines, and casino groups, as well as banks, manufacturing, commercial enterprises. He has also conducted forensic behavioural analysis projects in the diamond and platinum industries. He works extensively in the area of control rooms, visual analysis and detection in CCTV and x-ray screening, emergency response systems, and strategies for crime recognition and detection.
Jan Boeyens
Jan Boeyens is the co-owner of Leaderware. He has a MA in Psychology (UNISA) and has over 40 years of experiences in the fields of psychometric test design and general psychology.
With a keen interest in technology and psychology, Jan is responsible for the development and maintenance of the unique software and assessment techniques that Leaderware uses. He has experience writing computer programs from tailor made web assessments to statistical packages. He also has an extensive history with programming or writing many psychometric and non-psychometric tests in South Africa.

Forays Outside of Security
ADAP is a sponsor of equestrian eventing with sponsorship of two horses, Surf Circuit and Aragon. Both thoroughbreds, the horses help build the company profile and facilitate business relationships in a variety of sectors and countries. With regular placing in shows and events, the prestige of such fine horses is seen to equate with the same fine standard in our services and products.
